What type of information is gleaned from a criminal search?

Everything that is contained on the court records in the Counties and States (Statewide where allowed) searched: Convictions, arrests, paroles’, probations, pending cases, etc. The FCRA does not limit the information a CRA can provide to their clients. However, some states have laws that do regulate the usage of some of the information. For example, an employer cannot make hiring decisions based upon arrests only, where there was no conviction. We are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
