Employer Solutions Overview
Donor Status: Hiring managers have immediate access to the status of the drug test including updates if an event was missed by a donor, if and when the specimen was sent to the laboratory for confirmation, if a Medical Review Officer was reviewing and final test confirmation. This allows the employer to remain constantly informed during the test process, without the need to make phone calls to receive updates on a specimen's progress.
Remote Scheduling: Provides a tool from which hiring managers can arrange a drug test event at one of the 4,000+ nationwide Occupational Health collection sites. This tool provides the hiring manager control in expediting the drug test process and monitoring the donor's progress.
DOT Testing: Employers with DOT regulated employees can utilize the online system as a closed loop system for scheduling, tracking, monitoring and retrieving result of DOT urine drug tests. During the DOT collection, the contracted collection site staff will capture all the test information, complete the appropriate DOT chain of custody form and ship the sample to a SAMHSA-certified lab for testing.
When and if the specimen needs to be reviewed by a Medical Review Officer (MRO), then the information is forwarded and the MRO completes the donor interview and verification process. Once the lab (or the MRO) has verified the test result, it is released to the hiring manager, via email notification. This entire process can be monitored by the hiring manger online, in real-time. The application will notify the employer at each step in the testing process, including:
- No show donors
- Expired testing events
- Completed testing events
- When the specimen was shipped to the laboratory
- If and when the specimen has progressed to an MRO for review
- Final test result disposition
Statistical Reports: Because the process links all points in the drug testing process (employer, collection site, lab, MRO) and because data is captured at each step, administrators have access to various types of reports and statistical information. Administrators and hiring managers can generate reports and statistics retrieved from collection data history. This tool creates reports on result turnaround time, test activity summary, final result disposition and drug test results. This is a fast and easy way to run instant DOT statistical reports.
Random Pools: A paperless online tool called the Random Generator allows employers to manage their random drug testing programs online. The Random Generator is used in conjunction with the employer's Excel® spreadsheet, formatted to upload the employee data into the system for selection. The wizard driven program takes the information provided and randomly selects names to produce a display record for use by the employer for the random drug test program.
