ADVERSE ACTION NOTICE

An Adverse Action Notice is a letter which alerts an applicant that potentially negative information was found, during a pre-employment background screening, that could adversely affect their employment. It includes a summary of the applicant's rights and all of the contact information that they would need to dispute the information.

Adverse Action Service

Nation Search takes the burden, of the Adverse Action process, away from our clients and allows them to relegate the entire procedure, to Nation Search to administer, for them. In the event of a negative record resulting from the pre employment background screening, Nation Search will automatically initiate the adverse action process. This includes sending out a copy of the background report, consumer summary, and notification letter with instructions on how to seek a re-investigation. In addition, upon the client's request, Nation Search will send out the Adverse Action Notice, directly to the applicant.
